Wisconsin Library Association Recognition for Outstanding Achievement: Heraclix & Pomp

Holy cow. My publisher just forwarded me the email below:

Subject: Wisconsin Library Association Recognition for Forrest Aguirre
Dear Mr. Forrest Aguirre:

It is my pleasant task to inform you that your book Heraclix & Pomp has been
selected for Outstanding Achievement recognition for a 2014 publication by the
Wisconsin Library Association Literary Awards Committee.

Every year the Committee reviews over 200 books written by Wisconsin authors
which were published during the previous calendar year and selects ten to be
recognized as outstanding books. The books are  judged on their literary
merit as well as the quality of the writing, editing, printing, and publishing.

WLA will issue a press release to state newspapers naming all the award winners,
and I  will be sending you a certificate for Outstanding Achievement.

Sincerely,

Kate Hull
Chair, Literary Awards Committee 2015

To say that I'm humbled and honored is an understatement. Wow! Work's going to be
rough tomorrow - I don't know if I can sleep now . . .

PS: Sorry for the crappy formatting. It's seriously way past my bedtime and I don't have
time to properly fix it.

Here is the announcement!
